In a story we’ve been covering this week (here and here), Riley at Virginia Virtucon posts the confession of Joe Stanley:
I pointed the domain to N*MBL* for specific reasons. NA*B*A is an organization that advocates a set of beliefs that turn my stomach. Through misinformation, prevarication, and a false sense of earnestness, they pursue a predatory agenda that brings direct harm to countless innocent individuals.
Joe Stanley, Yellow Dog Strategies
Read the entire email (with Stanley’s permission) at Virginia Virtucon.
Stanley’s recent work has been to establish a website for Senator Roscoe Reynolds.
He also gained fame last year by producing the Anti-Semitic campaign flyer for the Webb for Senate campaign and he admits responsiblity for the “macaca” video, but goes on to say:
I do not believe George Allen is racist because he used the word “macaca.” I do not believe that owning a Confederate flag makes you a racist, nor does an appearance in Gods and Generals.
Proving once again the Democrat(ick) value that the truth doesn’t matter…as long as you win.
Here’s the political client list from the Yellow Dog Strategy web site:
Al Weed for Congress
Creigh Deeds for Attorney General
Eric Ferguson for Delegate 2005
James Webb for US Senate
Ferguson for Delegate 2007
Public Policy Virginia
Change America Now
Elmendorf Strategies, LLC
Democratic Judicial Campaign Committee
We’re anxiously awaiting for each of these individuals/groups to denounce Stanley’s tactics.
Deo Vindice issued the call this morning: Democrats of Character Come Forth
We echoed the call: Ethical Democrats: Come out, come out, wherever you are
So far, no response. But we’ll leave a light on.
