We can’t afford Hillary Math

Is this woman crazy?  Or just hell bent on destroying this country?

She’s proposing that every child born in the United States should get a $5,000 “baby bond” from the government to help pay for future costs of college or buying a home.

Clinton: $5,000 for Every U.S. Baby
Breitbart.com

Approximately 4 million babies are born each year in the United States.

That 4 million x $5,000.  You do the math.

WHERE THE HECK DOES SHE PLAN TO GET THE MONEY!?!?!?!?!

Out of YOUR pocket, and MY pocket.

Tell you what Hill.  You go back to the village and bake cookies.  I’ll give my kids $5,000.

I don’t need, or want, you to raise my child.

To good not to share

Got this via email.

A seagull in Scotland has developed the habit of stealing chips from a neighborhood shop. The seagull waits until the shopkeeper isn’t looking, and then walks into the store and grabs a snack-size bag of cheese Doritos. Once outside, the bag gets ripped open and shared by other birds. The seagull’s shoplifting started early this month when he first swooped into the store in Aberdeen , Scotland , and helped himself to a bag of chips. Since then, he’s become a regular. He always takes the same type of chips. Customers have begun paying for the seagull’s stolen bags of chips because they think it’s so funny.

Goodbye, My Friend

Tax reform’s ‘happy warrior’ Berthoud dies at 47
The Washington Times

National Taxpayers Union President John Berthoud, praised as “the happy warrior of fiscal conservatism,” died yesterday. He was 47.

Back in the early 1990s, when I still lived in DC, I worked with John on some projects.  I remember celebrating his Ph.D.  We haven’t kept in touch over the years, but I’ve followed his career through his work with the National Taxpayer’s Union.

He will be missed.

Ann Coulter: Tase Him Bro!

Ann Coulter:  Tase Him Bro!
Townhall.com

Democrats should run Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for president. He’s more coherent than Dennis Kucinich, he dresses like their base, he’s more macho than John Edwards, and he’s willing to show up at a forum where he might get one hostile question — unlike the current Democratic candidates for president who won’t debate on Fox News Channel. He’s not married to an impeached president, and the name “Mahmoud Ahmadinejad” is surely no more frightening than “B. Hussein Obama.”

And by the way, I’ll take a denunciation if college presidents would show up at my speeches and drone on for 10 minutes about “free speech” before I begin.

The ad that Mark, Ben and Lowell don’t want you to see

There’s a new Mark Warner ad out this week.  Riley has the details.

Funny thing about the ad, it was up on the RPV site, then it wasn’t.  We suspect that it’s because the ad uses a clip of Billy Bob Thorton dropping the f-bomb.

To be fair, it’s probably vitually impossible to find a clip of Billy Bob Thornton not using the f-bomb, but that’s another story.

Still, that word is why we haven’t posted it here.  But Riley (and others) have it up.

It asks the question the leftocra(ick)s don’t want to answer:  Why Did Mark Warner Not Run?

Ben and Lowell developed a case of the vapors (get yer own link) trying to deflect attention from the real question of the ad.  Either they were offended by the f-word (which would have to mean they are perpetually offended if they read their own sites), or they’re offended by the message.

We agree.

“Mark Warner for Senate” is pretty offensive.

Get your sticker here.
